Well, here we are again, another March 17th, the one day a year that the entire planet declares its Irish dependency, even though that might involve kissing The Blarney Stone a few extra times for good measure.
Whether you are examining the North or the Republic, the allure of Ireland remains constant. You might explore cultural folklore or visit a local pub for a traditional pint. The appeal of Ireland’s heritage and social traditions is enduring.
Canada must start chasing rainbows once more and rebuilding its country to the promised land it once was. We must do it for Canada, the world, and most of all ourselves. St. Patrick drove the snakes from Ireland, and today, a new snake is tearing apart Canada's sovereignty: the Trump Administration.
Now, Canadian leprechauns don't have shillalas. We do, however, have elbows and hockey sticks, so ELBOWS UP, Canada, the fight is on!
I almost forgot our Canadian Business of the Day—shame on me! It is the Wheat Sheaf Tavern at 667 King Street and Bathurst in Toronto. It is Toronto's Oldest Pub, so stop on by and have a green Pint on your way home!
